Camilla Peruzzi

Fellow Environmental Engineer

 

Ms. Peruzzi is a trainee working at the Italian Embassy in Libreville, Gabon.


Ms. Peruzzi has worked in two Italian societies, Hera end Geovest, operating in water, energy, waste services as Environmental Tutor. She took part in consciousness-raising activities projects, environmental education and technical support for differentiate waste collection and domestic composting in the Province of Bologna monitoring and overseeing the waste collection services with the objective to insure the best quality of service to the clients.


In 2007 she worked in Brussels as a trainee, at Aquiris, station d'épuration de Bruxelles-Nord VEOLIA EAU Group. She assisted on projects related to treatment of waste water and sludge, controlling and monitoring the chemical process of thermal hydrolysis and the subsequent anaerobic digestion used in the treatment of sludge.


Camilla Peruzzi graduated in Environmental Engineering, at the University of Bologna “Alma Mater Studiorum”, with a thesis on water resource management conducting an experimental research with the Office of ABR, Emilia Romagna Region.

She also holds a Master in Environmental Engineering from the University of Bologna “Alma Mater Studiorum” with a experimental thesis in the European project "Aqua fit4use" that aims at more sustainable use of water in the main water consuming industries. The thesis focused on tex
tile wastewater treatment. The research tests chemical and physical treatments, such as coagulation and membrane filtering technology.
