Dolores Forgione, is the Vice-President at ISES - Istituto Europeo per lo Sviluppo Socio Economico.


Lately she has been a European Consultant at FONDAZIONE IARD – international no-profit centre of excellence in the fields of social research, cultural heritage promotion, higher training and European projects – in Milan.


Ms Forgione works primarily  on international and development cooperation, twinning and social projects with the responsibility of drafting the project proposals and of managing the European Commission funded projects.


Prior to her enrollment at FONDAZIONE IARD she has been working at WORLD FRIENDS in Nairobi as Project Manager and Fund Raiser Assistant for social health projects held in Nairobi slums.

In 2005 she worked at the Italian Permanent Representation at the European Union in collaboration with the Italian Representative in the “Antici Group”, in the “Latin America” working group and in the “Financial perspectives 2007 – 2013” working group.


Apart from her strong interest in development cooperation she has focused also on children
human rights and rehabilitation of former child soldiers.

She edited weekly articles about the exploitation of child-soldiers all round the world and about the trusteeship of human rights for the Italian branch of the Fédération Internationale des Ligues des Droits de l’Homme (FIDH).
